Margaret chairs the Women@Work and alumni network, and heads the steering group. Over the last two years, the network and other initiatives she leads have achieved numerous recognitions as industry leading best practice. These initiatives have significantly progressed the agenda with senior leadership & boards, both approving gender targets and a new gender dashboard to provide data and board papers to track progress. Externally, Irish Life is recognized as industry best practice in Diversity & Inclusion following a number of D&I audits. Margaret is Program Director for the LifeCareers Mentoring Program and chairs the steering group. This program has become a benchmark, spawning national and international mentoring initiatives. Margaret is the internal network lead of the 30% Club Ireland Financial Services network, mentors through Pathways in Technology, and instigated and leads a partnership with Skillnet Ireland’s Women TechStart & ReBoot Program, supporting women with technology skills to return to work.
